I changed to the Dewalt 20 Max/Flexvolt platform (owned large quanti ty of the Big Red), approximately 3 years ago, and haven’t regretted for a second. With an additional 60 volt battery, total voltage of 120, and the corded adapter, the Flexvolt Table Saw would be as close to perfect as possible. My only issue is that the saw is that it isn’t available in a 10” platform, as is the 12” sliding combination miter saw. The biggest up side on a site w/o power, is that I don’t have to break out bulky generators and extension cords. I generally use for ripping, plywood and 2x’s, the Saw doesn’t disappoint. With a fully charged battery, you will never notice a power drop vs. I own multiple batteries, as I always need to have the saw available for work. The Flexvolt Table Saw is on of my most used pieces of equipment. As the majority of my business is remodeling.
